Electrical Engineer – Power Generators & Distribution

About the role

Al Qaswaa Group for Power Solutions is seeking a full‑time Electrical Engineer to work on‑site in Al‑Rusafa. The role focuses on designing, reviewing and optimizing electrical systems for power generators and distribution projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards and safety regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, assemble and prepare electrical panels (MDB, SDB, control panels).
• Connect, program and test synchronization systems (ATS/Sync panels) for generators.
• Prepare electrical drawings, calculations and schematics for power generation projects.
• Support installation, commissioning and testing of generator sets and power distribution equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults on‑site, providing rapid corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, procurement, sales and project teams to select equipment, draft tender documents and respond to customer proposals.
• Conduct quality inspections of panels and systems before hand‑over.

Required profile

• Qualified electrical engineer with proven experience in panel design, assembly and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of power generator synchronization and distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering diagrams and electrical schematics.
• Experience working on‑site with maintenance teams to resolve faults and improve reliability.
