Drilling Superintendent

About the role

The Drilling Superintendent leads safe and efficient drilling, completions and workover programs for Crescent Petroleum. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures HSE compliance, operational feasibility and cost control across rig operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HSE implementation, monitor KPIs and ensure compliance with all safety policies.
• Direct drilling supervisors, oversee program execution, equipment planning and change management.
• Control budget expenditures, justify variances and report cost and progress against targets.
• Provide leadership to contractor staff, set performance goals and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Conduct wellsite inspections, risk assessments and ensure pre‑job checklists are completed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Valid well‑control certificate.
• Minimum 15 years of oil‑field experience, including at least 10 years as a Drilling Supervisor or Superintendent.
• At least 5 years in drilling or completions engineering roles.
