Demand Planning Supervisor

About the role

The Demand Planning Supervisor will lead demand and supply planning activities to ensure customer requirements are met efficiently. The role combines production scheduling, inventory management, and cross‑functional coordination within a SAP environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate demand and supply planning to meet customer needs.
• Prepare, execute and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production plans in SAP PP.
• Develop production schedules based on forecasts, orders, inventory, material availability and capacity.
• Optimize manufacturing sequences, changeovers and line capacity.
• Monitor schedule adherence and re‑plan for breakdowns, shortages or urgent orders.
• Support S&OE and monthly S&OP cycles.
• Coordinate with procurement (SAP MM) to secure raw and packaging materials.
• Track finished‑goods inventory, safety stock and accuracy.
• Manage customer orders, deliveries, returns and complaints in SAP SD.
• Report key supply‑chain KPIs such as OTIF, schedule adherence and inventory coverage.
• Develop reporting tools using Advanced Excel or Power BI.
• Lead, coach and support team members where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, production planning or related supply‑chain functions.
• Strong hands‑on planning capability and understanding of S&OP/S&OE processes.
• Experience coordinating with procurement, logistics, sales and finance.
