Delivery Coordinator – Construction & Commissioning

About the role

The Delivery Coordinator will act as the main integrator between construction and commissioning teams on multiple projects in Basra, including tie‑ins, power projects and oil & gas facilities. Working closely with the client’s Project and Operations teams, the role ensures alignment, smooth hand‑over and successful project completion.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between construction and commissioning to guarantee a seamless transition from mechanical completion to commissioning.
• Track mechanical completion status and ensure all required documentation is handed to the commissioning team.
• Facilitate timely hand‑over of systems, overseeing pre‑commissioning activities according to schedule.
• Manage construction punch lists and ensure all items are resolved before commissioning begins.
• Resolve construction‑related issues that could impact commissioning, addressing them proactively.
• Coordinate interfaces across tie‑ins, power projects and oil/gas operations, maintaining a comprehensive interface register.
• Communicate and plan interface activities with the client’s Project and Operations team.
• Support the commissioning team by monitoring subsystem readiness and flagging potential bottlenecks.

Required profile

• Proven experience coordinating construction and commissioning activities on industrial projects.
• Strong ability to communicate and collaborate with client project and operations teams.
• Capability to track mechanical completion and manage documentation hand‑over.
• Experience managing interface registers and coordinating tie‑ins, utilities and related activities.
• Proactive problem‑solving skills for construction‑related issues.
