About the role

Halliburton is seeking a Community Liaison Lead to manage its Government Relations Department in Basra, Iraq. The role involves high‑level interaction with government officials and oversight of labor‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

Manage the Government Relations Department and coordinate all related activities.
Provide advice on local labor relations, social issues, and government procedures.
Maintain high‑level contacts with appropriate government officials.
Assist HR with localization planning and local hiring resources.
May undertake general administrative and facilities responsibilities.

Required profile

Written and verbal fluency in English.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Higher‑level college education preferred.
Strong knowledge of local labor law and government procedures.
