Commercial Manager – Iraq

About the role

Abdi İbrahim, a leading Turkish pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Commercial Manager to lead its sales operations in Baghdad, Iraq. The role will oversee the full sales cycle, develop forecasts, and drive commercial growth across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales process nationwide, including demand planning and commercial operations planning.
• Set quarterly sales budgets and forecasts for each region, coordinating with marketing and other departments.
• Define and monitor regional KPIs, and lead sales campaigns across all provinces.
• Maintain and develop relationships with customers, visiting each province quarterly.
• Achieve sales targets for units, value, and regions, and prepare monthly forecasts.
• Support district managers, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic sales recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar commercial management role.
• Strong understanding of the Iraqi pharmaceutical market and healthcare environment.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proven leadership, strategic planning, and analytical abilities.
