Career Development Specialist

About the role

The Career Development Specialist will design, build and maintain Sradar Group’s career development architecture, including job families, career paths, learning tracks and internal mobility mechanisms. This role supports visible growth routes for employees and strengthens internal talent supply.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and structure group roles into validated job families, define role levels and maintain the job family matrix.
• Build vertical, lateral and cross‑functional career paths, produce career path maps and employee‑facing guides.
• Develop role‑based learning tracks, classify learning requirements and map them into SAP SuccessFactors Learning.
• Translate the competency framework into practical development requirements and support competency‑based progression.
• Create and pilot Individual Development Plan templates, link them to competency gaps and track completion.
• Support internal mobility mechanisms, define readiness criteria and provide data for succession planning.
• Maintain documentation, prepare monthly updates and quarterly reports, and escalate blockers as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, Education or related field.
• 4–6 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in HRD, L&D, talent or organizational development.
• Hands‑on experience with competency frameworks, job architecture, career path or learning pathway design.
• Fluent in Arabic and English; Kurdish is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel between Erbil, Baghdad and other locations for stakeholder sessions.
