Cards Product Development Senior Associate

About the role

The National Bank of Iraq is seeking a Cards Product Development Senior Associate to drive the growth and optimisation of its card portfolio. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure card products align with the bank’s strategic objectives and deliver a superior customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance card products in line with the bank’s strategy.
• Prepare periodic reports on newly issued cards, active cards, activation and usage rates, spending volumes and revenue.
• Analyse product performance, identify improvement opportunities and recommend actions to increase activation.
• Coordinate with the Call Center to follow up on new card activations.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create target customer lists and launch activation campaigns.
• Work with IT to resolve technical issues related to card issuance or activation.
• Ensure compliance with payment network requirements such as Visa.
• Improve card issuance and activation processes to enhance customer experience.
• Submit analytical reports and recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in the banking sector or card product management.
• Knowledge of card systems and card issuance/activation procedures.
