Senior Project Control Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Control Analyst to provide comprehensive project controls, cost estimation, forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting for drilling, well‑servicing and workover activities. The role ensures financial discipline, accurate forecasts and timely decision‑making across the wells portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare inputs for the annual Work Program & Budget and quarterly re‑forecasts for drilling and well‑service activities.
• Develop cost estimates, AFE’s and secure internal and external approvals before work starts.
• Track daily, weekly and monthly costs, update cost trackers from Daily Drilling Reports and generate value‑of‑work‑done reports.
• Verify vendor invoices, ensure correct coding to AFE numbers and resolve invoicing disputes.
• Produce full well reconciliations within 90 days of activity completion and respond to ad‑hoc cost queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Project Controls, Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• 5‑10 years of wells cost control or cost engineering experience, familiar with drilling and completions terminology.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (charts, Power Query, Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, dashboard reporting).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar visualization tools.
