Business Intelligence Officer

About the role

ZainCash is seeking a Business Intelligence Officer to turn raw data into actionable insights that drive financial and operational performance. You will work closely with product, marketing, and risk teams to deliver data‑driven solutions in a fast‑moving fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and transform business data from multiple sources while ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Conduct deep analysis of financial and operational data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Apply statistical methods and advanced analytics to support budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand reporting needs and deliver BI‑based solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Power BI.
• Automate reporting processes to increase efficiency.
• Monitor fintech and data‑analysis trends and contribute to continuous improvement of BI processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Finance, Statistics, or Computer Science.
• At least 1 year of experience in data engineering or data analysis, preferably in fintech or financial services.

Required skills

• SQL – expert level for data extraction and transformation.
• Advanced Excel – complex formulas, data cleaning, and manual reporting.
• Python or R – functional knowledge for statistical modeling.
• Understanding of ETL processes and data‑warehouse concepts.
• Tableau and Power BI – strong ability to design and maintain interactive dashboards.
• Experience working in Agile‑driven data teams.
