BIM Design Coordinator

About the role

The leading construction company is seeking a BIM Design Coordinator to join its Iraq team. You will be responsible for driving multidisciplinary design coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines, ensuring that BIM models are integrated, clash‑free, and aligned with project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead coordination of architectural, structural and MEP designs using BIM tools.
• Manage model integration, clash detection and issue resolution.
• Review design deliverables for quality, accuracy and constructability.
• Facilitate technical communication among consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Control project drawings, revisions and technical documentation.
• Support construction teams with design clarification and technical problem‑solving.
• Monitor design changes, assess impact on schedule and cost, and document them.
• Prepare coordination reports and track design issues to timely resolution.
• Promote best practices in BIM implementation and design management.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in BIM coordination, design management or construction project coordination.
• Proven experience on building or residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design coordination and BIM workflows.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to relocate to Iraq.
