Backend Developer (Express.js, Prisma, MySQL, AWS)

About the role

Al-Habbar Technologies is seeking a Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain backend systems for web and mobile platforms. The role focuses on building resilient APIs, managing data with Prisma and MySQL, and deploying services on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Develop RESTful APIs using Express.js.
• Model and manage databases with Prisma ORM and MySQL.
• Build scalable services and micro‑services on AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3, RDS, etc.).
• Contribute to performance, security, and scalability improvements.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies in AWS.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required profile

• Proficiency with Node.js and Express.js.
• Experience with Prisma ORM and relational databases.
• Basic understanding of core AWS services (Lambda, RDS, S3, EC2, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization mechanisms such as JWT or OAuth.
• Exposure to DevOps tools like Docker and GitHub Actions.
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
