Assistant Service Advisor – Customer-Focused Role

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Service Advisor to join our Jaguar Land Rover after‑sales team in Basra. You will support the Service Advisor in delivering a seamless, high‑quality experience for our customers throughout the service process.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide professional assistance from arrival to vehicle hand‑over.
• Assist with scheduling appointments, handling inquiries and processing service requests.
• Prepare and update repair orders and related documentation.
• Coordinate with technicians on inspections, repairs and service progress, keeping customers informed.
• Support the preparation of service estimates and obtain customer approvals.
• Follow up on pending repairs, parts, and customer requests.
• Maintain accurate customer and vehicle data in the service management system.
• Address customer concerns, escalating issues when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, JLR standards and health‑safety requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive or a related field (preferred).
• Previous experience in automotive after‑sales or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong command of English and Arabic.
• Excellent communication, organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and a customer‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of automotive servicing terminology.
• Proficiency with service management systems.
