Area Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales department is looking for an Area Sales Manager to develop and run sales plans that meet monthly, quarterly and annual targets, lead and coach the sales team, and expand market coverage. The role covers field visits, customer relationship building, forecasting and coordination with other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Lead, coach and motivate the sales team, and monitor performance through KPIs with regular reviews and corrective action plans.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop existing customer accounts; build relationships with key customers, contractors, distributors, consultants and government entities where applicable.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor team activities, customer engagement and market conditions.
• Ensure pricing policies, promotional campaigns and sales initiatives are implemented correctly.
• Prepare sales forecasts, market analysis and management reports, and monitor competitors' activities and pricing.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Technical departments, support negotiations with key accounts and take part in major customer meetings.
• Keep CRM and ERP systems up to date with customer information, opportunities and sales activities.
• Manage customer complaints, ensure compliance with company policies and ethical business practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree is a must.
• Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory or sales management role.
• Experience in sales, distribution, construction materials, oil and lubricants products, industrial solutions or related industries is preferred.
