Country Manager - Iraq

About the role

Novargi Industries, a provider of process and thermal equipment for the Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, Energy and Industrial markets, is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Country Manager to lead its presence in Iraq. The role represents Novargi in the country, drives business development, strengthens client relationships and coordinates with headquarters so that local operations align with corporate strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Iraq's commercial strategy and identify new business in the Oil & Gas, Energy, Industrial and Infrastructure sectors
• Build relationships with clients, government entities, national oil companies, international operators, EPC contractors and partners, and lead negotiations and tender preparation
• Meet agreed sales targets, revenue objectives and business development KPIs
• Represent Novargi before clients, authorities and stakeholders, promote the company's reputation and represent it at industry events
• Keep Iraq operations aligned with headquarters by sharing market intelligence and supporting corporate policies
• Coordinate with HQ departments such as Business Development, Engineering, Projects, Procurement, Finance, Legal and Operations
• Support project delivery, monitor local risks, ensure compliance with regulations and HSE requirements, and report regularly to senior management

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, EPC or Industrial sectors
• Proven track record in business development, sales and client relationship management
• Experience with international companies and multicultural organisations
• Fluent English; Arabic highly desirable
