About the role
The organization seeks a full‑time Art Teacher to join its team in Halabja Governorate, Iraq. You will design and deliver engaging art lessons that nurture creativity, critical thinking, and artistic skills across diverse learner groups.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and implement lesson plans covering painting and various artistic techniques.
- Organize classroom activities, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to align art education with broader curricular and community objectives.
- Maintain an inclusive, safe classroom environment and coordinate exhibitions or presentations of student work.
Required profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to create an inclusive atmosphere.
- Experience teaching art in schools, community centers, or similar settings, preferably in cross‑cultural environments.
- Willingness and ability to work on‑site in Halabja Governorate and adapt to the local context.
