Area Marketing Manager – Basra Region

About the role

ZOOMLION is seeking an experienced Area Marketing Manager to lead its sales and marketing efforts in the Basra region. You will be responsible for driving business growth, building client relationships, and guiding a high‑performing team to meet regional targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert prospective clients across the allocated region to achieve business goals.
• Lead and motivate a marketing team focused on lead generation, conversion, and monthly target achievement.
• Execute regional market strategies to meet sales and profit objectives while monitoring performance.
• Design and implement marketing initiatives that attract new customers and nurture existing relationships.
• Participate in commercial negotiations for key projects to align with regional business objectives.
• Provide ongoing coaching and direction to ensure the team meets departmental goals.

Required profile

• Minimum graduate education.
• 5–10 years of experience in the GCC, including 3–4 years in equipment sales and 1–2 years in team leadership.
• Experience in engineering machinery/heavy equipment (mobile crane, tower crane, concrete equipment) preferred.
• Strong familiarity with the local market and a valid local driving license.
