About the role
The Air Crew Life Support Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting T-6A aircraft and related support equipment. This position ensures aircraft are serviceable and compliant with FAA regulations and manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform launch, recovery, scheduled and unscheduled inspections, pre‑flight, thru‑flight, and post‑flight checks on T‑6A aircraft.
- Service, operate, and maintain ground support equipment, including interior and exterior cleaning of aircraft and work areas.
- Document all maintenance actions precisely according to FAA and company procedures.
Required profile
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license in good standing.
- At least four years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience, including 2.5 years on Textron T6 Texan II within the last five years.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. passport for facility credentials.
Required skills
- FAA A&P certification
- Experience with OBOGS systems and T‑6 life support equipment
- Textron T6 Texan II aircraft maintenance
- Reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
- Operation of ground support and auxiliary equipment
