NWP Pipeline Construction Lead

About the role

The NWP Pipeline Construction Lead will drive the safe and efficient execution of pipeline works for the AGUP Phase 2 project in the Basra region of Iraq. Reporting to senior project management, the role combines hands‑on supervision, technical oversight and coordination across multiple interfaces in a high‑performance, high‑risk environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe execution of all pipeline construction activities in line with H3SE objectives.
• Guarantee that pipeline works follow approved technical documentation, schedules and quality standards.
• Supervise, coordinate and optimise the performance of the pipeline construction team.
• Identify, escalate and resolve construction issues that could impact safety, quality, cost or schedule.
• Manage interfaces with wellpads, CPF, operations and other project streams (e.g., GMP, CSSP) to maintain seamless integration.
• Maintain rigorous H3SE compliance and promote a strong safety culture on site.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in large‑scale pipeline construction within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of H3SE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) standards and their practical application.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary construction teams in complex, high‑risk environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on cost, schedule and quality optimisation.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Iraq and adapt to local operational challenges.
