Head Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Head Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The role combines hands‑on floor presence with strategic oversight of cleaning operations, training, and equipment management.

Key responsibilities

• Assign daily tasks to Housekeeping Supervisors and Room Attendants and maintain a visible presence on the floors.
• Monitor and ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, and storage of housekeeping equipment.
• Control the economical and safe use of cleaning agents, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
• Oversee vacuuming, polishing, carpet care, and general cleaning to meet established schedules and quality standards.
• Implement and coordinate training programs for all team members, ensuring understanding of role purpose and standards.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all housekeeping products and services.

Required profile

• Degree in Hospitality or related field.
• Previous experience in a hotel housekeeping department.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and cross‑cultural sensitivity.
• Computer literate; experience with Opera PMS is a plus.
• Friendly, caring, detail‑oriented, and able to lead by example.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
