About the role

Holcim is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join its team in Baghdad, Iraq. The successful candidate will lead corporate legal affairs, providing sound legal advice and developing risk mitigation strategies to support the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee all corporate legal matters for the organization.
  • Provide timely and accurate legal advice to business units.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and corporate documents.

Required profile

  • Proven experience as a corporate lawyer, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of Iraqi corporate law and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
