About the role
Tiryaki Agro is seeking a qualified Lawyer to support its operations in Iraq. The role focuses on labor law, corporate registration, and regulatory compliance for investment and industrial development projects.
Key responsibilities
- Handle approvals, permits, and official procedures with government authorities.
- Provide legal support for investment projects and industrial development initiatives.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, legal notices, and related documents.
- Manage company registration, amendments, licensing, and corporate compliance matters.
- Advise on labor law issues and assist in resolving employment-related disputes.
- Prepare and maintain legal correspondence, reports, and official communications.
- Liaise with government entities, clients, and stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters.
- Maintain accurate records of legal documentation and manage professional email communications.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments relevant to the company's operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent).
- 1–3 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in labor and corporate law.
- Strong knowledge of Iraqi labor law and company registration procedures.
- Experience obtaining governmental approvals and managing regulatory processes.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
