Business Consultant – Carrier Sales

About the role

As a Business Consultant in the Carrier Business Sales team, you will drive sales of China Mobile International’s portfolio—including DICT, Cloud, IoT, 5G solutions, international wholesale connectivity and IP Transit—to telecom carriers operating in Iraq. You will act as the primary liaison between customers and internal regional teams to ensure seamless solution delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage existing carrier and operator accounts, overseeing daily operations and renewals.
• Develop and execute sales strategies for CMI’s product suite across the Iraqi market.
• Identify, engage, and cultivate new business opportunities with operators and ISPs.
• Collaborate with local partners and distributors for DICT and connectivity projects.
• Handle documentation such as agreements, RFPs, and order forms.
• Coordinate pricing, technical, and solution‑design support with regional and HQ teams.
• Lead end‑to‑end onboarding, order processing, and renewal cycles.
• Work closely with the UAE team and MENA regional office to achieve sales targets.
• Prepare and submit regular sales performance reports to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of telecom industry experience, including at least 3 years of DICT sales to operators/ISPs in Iraq.
• Strong knowledge of DICT, Cloud, IoT, ICT and 5G products; understanding of wholesale connectivity and IP Transit is a plus.
• Established network with carrier, network and procurement teams across GCC telecom operators.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; Kurdish is an advantage.
