Indirect Sales Account Executive – Baghdad

About the role

The Indirect Sales Account Executive will manage Zain Iraq's distributor network in Baghdad, ensuring product distribution, point‑of‑sale performance and achievement of sales targets. You will act as the liaison between Zain and its distributors, gathering market intelligence and driving the quality of sales.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and execute Zain’s indirect sales strategy and policies.
• Visit assigned points of sale to collect market intelligence, monitor competitor signage and gather consumer feedback.
• Log and follow up on consumer complaints related to Zain products.
• Prepare and communicate rejected contract reports to distributors and provide corrective guidance.
• Inform distributors daily about documentation discrepancies, SIM irregularities and voucher inaccuracies.
• Escalate urgent network issues and support the Account Manager with appropriate actions.
• Track daily activation numbers per distributor and report status.
• Monitor MBB availability, achievement metrics and promotional campaigns for new sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of experience in a sales or distribution‑focused role.
• Ability to work outside the office and travel to multiple points of sale.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, achievement‑driven mindset and teamwork skills.
