Device Planning and Commercial Specialist

About the role

Zain Iraq is looking for a Device Planning and Commercial Specialist to own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of its device portfolio. The role ensures that devices meet revenue, market penetration and customer adoption targets while maintaining operational and financial efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SKU‑level demand plans across retail, B2B and digital channels.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics to guarantee timely product availability and smooth distribution.
• Monitor inventory levels, minimizing excess and aging stock while ensuring optimal availability.
• Identify supply risks and work proactively with relevant teams to mitigate them.
• Track device performance across channels, outlets and customer segments, reporting sell‑in and sell‑through results.
• Prepare periodic sales and inventory reports to support business decisions and highlight performance gaps.
• Ensure product readiness across all sales channels, including merchandising standards and execution quality.
• Support training, onboarding and new product launch initiatives for internal and frontline teams.
• Collaborate with retail, telesales and B2B teams on device offerings, promotions and pricing strategies.
• Assist in business case development, commercial performance evaluation and bundled offer creation.
• Maintain relationships with manufacturers, distributors and marketing teams for product launches and campaigns.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• 3‑5 years of experience in device management, retail or consumer electronics.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, commercial performance metrics and sales operations.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, achievement orientation and ability to work collaboratively.
