Learning and Development Associate

About the role

This role supports the training and development of bank and branch employees, identifying their training needs and arranging both local (within Iraq) and international training. It covers organizing internal programs, managing budgets and records, and reporting on training outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify training needs of bank and branch employees from business requirements and performance evaluations, and help conduct interviews to assess needs.
• Select training methods (individual, group, computer-based, practical or theoretical) and recommend them to the direct manager.
• Coordinate local and international training with training centers and institutions, manage enrollments and follow up until completion.
• Organize internal training programs: prepare facilities, coordinate with trainers, evaluate outcomes and issue certificates.
• Prepare the annual training budget and maintain training records and expenditure monitoring.
• Evaluate internal and external programs and prepare reports on outcomes and trainee development.
• Manage training schedules with supervisors and use the HRIS to run training activities and generate periodic reports.
• Plan training for new hires and for university interns during their summer internship.
• Develop training procedures, evaluation processes and learning materials, and align training plans with skill-development needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or an equivalent field.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
