About the role
The Cashier is responsible for receiving and disbursing money for customer purchases in the branches. The position is based in Baghdad, Al Amana.
Key responsibilities
- Collections: collect cash accurately and report it with proper supporting documents according to policy.
- Payments: make cash payments accurately and report them with proper supporting documents according to policy.
- Daily cash accounting: record all cash entries in the system on a daily basis.
- Daily cash inventory count and reconciliation with the system, ensuring cash matches the books.
- Maintain a clean cash office and keep the documentation archive.
- Maintain a good attitude with colleagues and customers.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cash handling.
- Arabic and English.
