Account Executive – Restaurant Partnerships

About the role

Talabat, the on-demand food and quick commerce app, is hiring an Account Executive in Mosul. The role develops business with partner restaurants and maintains long-term relationships, covering menu photos, promotions, advertisement sales, renegotiations and other ad-hoc account management projects.

Key responsibilities

• Hold business reviews with accounts to find opportunities that increase revenue, profitability and market share, and keep a continuous relationship with clients and restaurants.
• Keep client menus up to date and optimise restaurant content such as menu offers and delivery time.
• Renegotiate commission rates with existing contacts to build new commercial relationships.
• Sell advertisements: acquire brand menu photos, place Talabat stickers, banners and newsletters, and generate food coupons, promotions and vouchers.
• Persuade restaurants to adopt digital tools: track orders, WLA transmission, backlinks, splash pages, white-label, Facebook buttons and online payment gateways.
• Check whether restaurants are live on the Talabat website and resolve issues such as shutdowns or stopped delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of closed sales, follow-ups, sales expenses, post-promotion results, restaurant analysis and account management reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience in a related field.
• Fluent English and Arabic; Kurdish is a plus.
