Senior Python Developer – Backend & API Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The role involves working on high‑performance systems, integrating third‑party services, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Python applications.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate with third‑party services.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high‑performance backend systems.
• Optimize database performance and application architecture.
• Review code and mentor junior developers.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and UI/UX teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement permanent solutions.
• Participate in software architecture and technical design decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional Python development experience.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior developers.
• Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., ERP Next, Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle ERP) is a strong advantage.
