Senior Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the electrical maintenance team for a power generation facility, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of all electrical assets. You will be responsible for planning, executing and documenting maintenance activities, as well as driving continuous improvement through analysis and root‑cause investigations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up spare‑part and purchasing orders.
• Create and maintain electrical drawings, as‑built documentation and manage MOC (Management of Change) processes.
• Lead failure analysis, root‑cause analysis (RCA) and develop corrective actions.
• Develop, review and execute Planned Maintenance (PM) activities for control systems and electrical equipment.
• Monitor plant performance, analyse operational data and produce performance reports.
• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance, outage work and emergency interventions.
• Provide technical guidance to maintenance and operations personnel.
• Maintain all electrical procedures, documentation, software records and archiving systems.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in electrical maintenance within power generation or heavy industry.
• Strong safety orientation and ability to lead a multidisciplinary team.
• Proven track record in troubleshooting complex electrical faults and implementing quick‑turnaround solutions.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in cost‑benefit evaluation and continuous improvement.
