Operations Coordinator – Well Services

About the role

The Operations Coordinator will support the Well Services region by managing inventory, optimizing asset utilisation, coordinating procurement, and providing logistics assistance. You will act as the primary liaison with clients on operational issues and ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and relocate under‑utilised assets within the region.
• Monitor expendable supply stocks at each site and rebalance excess inventory.
• Establish central expendable stock points using a hub‑and‑spoke distribution model.
• Place replenishment orders for central stock points; avoid purchases at outlying sites.
• Coordinate capital equipment purchases and key product agreements with the Houston purchasing team.
• Support internal departments such as inventory/asset tracking, marketing, accounting, and regional field operations.
• Arrange movement of rental, fishing, and service equipment to maximise utilisation and revenue.
• Serve as the regional focal point for equipment searches to avoid unnecessary purchases or sub‑rentals.

Required profile

• 3‑4+ years of operational experience in the oil & gas sector, preferably with well‑service equipment.
• 0‑1 years of coordination or supervisory experience.
• Engineering background or equivalent technical education (high school diploma minimum; associate degree preferred).
• Field or workshop experience with well‑service equipment is essential.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Eligibility to work in Iraq without sponsorship.
