Sales Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Engineer to identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction and building chemicals sector. You will work closely with customers, contractors, and consultants to understand technical requirements and provide tailored product solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential customers.
• Visit customers, contractors, consultants, and project sites to understand technical requirements.
• Present and explain products, technical specifications, and applications to customers.
• Recommend appropriate products and solutions based on project requirements.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and product information.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, orders, and customer requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key accounts.
• Coordinate with the sales, technical, and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, pricing, and customer needs.
• Provide technical support and product demonstrations when required.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and submit regular sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in technical sales, construction materials, building chemicals, or a related industry is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into customer solutions.
• Strong customer relationship and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to travel and conduct field visits.
