Presales Engineer

About the role

The Presales Engineer works closely with the Sales team to provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. This role designs solutions, runs proofs of concept, and ensures customers understand the value of the offered products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for the assigned product and service portfolio.
• Collaborate with Sales to develop account penetration strategies and qualify opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, high‑level designs, and product demonstrations.
• Manage proofs of concept (POC) and respond to requests for proposals (RFP).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, partners, and customers.
• Lead technical sales calls and support post‑sales queries when needed.
• Document pre‑sales activities accurately and use CRM tools for lead and opportunity management.
• Provide feedback to product teams on client requirements and stay updated on market trends.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of IT protocols.
• Strong technical knowledge of security, infrastructure, networking, software and cloud solutions.
• Relevant vendor technical certifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
