Physical Therapist

About the role

KADD ACADEMY is seeking a full‑time Physical Therapist to join its interdisciplinary team in Sulaymaniyah. The role focuses on delivering pediatric physical therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental needs, supporting functional mobility and participation in daily activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of motor function and mobility.
• Design and implement individualized, evidence‑based treatment plans.
• Provide one‑to‑one PT sessions and coordinate interventions with ABA, speech‑language pathology, and occupational therapy services.
• Monitor progress, document outcomes, and adjust therapies as needed.
• Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and continuity of care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and uphold clinical and ethical standards.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of pediatric and neurodevelopmental physical therapy, including assessment and treatment planning.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Physical Therapy (or equivalent) with appropriate licensure.
• Experience working with children, preferably in autism or developmental rehabilitation settings.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work ethically in a culturally diverse environment.
