Service & Applications Engineer – CT/MRI (Iraq)

About the role

The Imaging Systems Service & Applications Team is responsible for the implementation, operation and technical performance of United Imaging Healthcare (UIH) medical imaging systems across Iraq. The role covers technical service, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, clinical applications and user support for CT, MRI and other imaging modalities.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot CT, MRI and X‑Ray systems.
• Provide preventive and corrective maintenance and technical support to customers.
• Diagnose equipment issues and coordinate with technical resources for timely resolution.
• Support customers during system installation, commissioning and operational phases.
• Deliver technical guidance, training and clinical workflow support to end‑users.
• Maintain accurate service records, technical reports and customer documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Applications and internal teams to ensure high‑quality support.
• Travel to customer sites across Iraq as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Relevant experience in medical equipment, diagnostic imaging or technical service, preferably with CT, MRI or X‑Ray systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑facing skills.
• Willingness to travel within Iraq and work both independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
