NOC Engineer – Telecom Network Operations

About the role

We are looking for a motivated NOC Engineer to join our growing telecom team. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of our LTE, FTTH, IP and transmission networks, ensuring high availability for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor network health using PRTG and other monitoring tools.
• Detect, analyse and troubleshoot incidents, escalating when necessary to meet SLA targets.
• Perform first‑level fault isolation and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
• Support network performance analysis, drive‑test analysis and optimisation activities.
• Analyse alarms, logs and KPIs to identify service degradation.
• Prepare incident, daily operational and performance reports.
• Follow operational procedures, change‑management and maintenance processes.
• Participate in planned maintenance and provide emergency support as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a Network Operations Center or telecom operations.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Good communication skills in English, Kurdish and Arabic.

Required skills

• Understanding of LTE architecture, troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Experience with drive‑test analysis and LTE optimisation techniques.
• Knowledge of FTTH/FTTX network operations and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with PRTG Network Monitor.
• Solid grasp of IP networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
• Familiarity with transmission technologies such as DWDM and optics.
