Laboratory Technician – Quality Control

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team in an industrial production environment. You will ensure the quality, consistency and regulatory compliance of lubricant oils, greases, coolants, base oils, additives and related raw materials.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine physical and chemical tests on finished products and raw materials (viscosity, density, flash point, pour point, color, pH, TBN/TAN, CCS viscosity, water content, glycol concentration, foam).
• Collect and prepare samples from production and storage tanks according to SOPs.
• Issue Certificates of Analysis for finished products and accurately record all results.
• Support blending and filling operations, report non‑conforming results immediately.
• Calibrate, maintain and clean laboratory instruments and ensure HSE compliance.
• Assist product development and trial production activities.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals and consumables.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petrochemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry or related field.
• 2–5 years of laboratory experience, preferably in lubricant, oil & gas or petrochemical production.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM testing standards and good English communication skills.
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with viscometers, flash point testers, density meters, CCS equipment, pH meters and titration systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and laboratory reporting systems.
• Familiarity with ASTM testing procedures.
