Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical & Electrical (Iraq)

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with both mechanical and electrical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our plant machinery in Iraq. The role focuses on troubleshooting, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement in a dynamic food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve technical malfunctions affecting production processes
• Report quality, safety, CAPA, and GMP deviations
• Prepare malfunction reports and corrective action plans
• Support maintenance planning and work order preparation
• Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans
• Support Autonomous Maintenance implementation
• Monitor spare parts release, consumption, and stock levels
• Optimize spare parts usage and reduce unnecessary consumption
• Prepare manpower allocation plans across shifts
• Manage maintenance tools and required equipment orders

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar field
• Excellent command of English (speaking, reading, and writing)
