Water Services Manager

About the role

The Water Services Manager will lead all water purification functions across multiple sites in Iraq, ensuring regulatory compliance and high consumer satisfaction. Based in Balad, this role combines operational oversight with strategic development of future treatment options.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all activities related to water quality regulatory compliance.
• Examine source‑water quality and propose watershed improvements.
• Set operational criteria for short‑term operations and long‑term planning.
• Provide process design criteria during facility planning to meet water‑quality goals.
• Analyze water regulations and emerging issues to develop mitigation options.
• Develop innovative process optimizations for reliability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High School diploma (required); Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Class B water‑treatment plant operator (Level 3) certification or equivalent.
• 12 years of water‑purification and treatment experience, including at least 7 years in municipal water treatment, distribution, or well‑system operations.
• Hands‑on experience with Reverse Osmosis Water Purification Units (ROWPU).
• Knowledge of repair, maintenance, installation, and modernization of water‑treatment systems at overseas facilities.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
