About the role
We are looking for a Travel Operations Consultant to join Rahal’s fast‑growing travel‑tech team in Baghdad. You will manage end‑to‑end travel operations, coordinate bookings, and ensure a seamless experience for corporate and individual travelers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to corporate clients and individual travelers.
- Confirm and complete reservations in line with internal standards and client policies.
- Coordinate and book transportation and accommodation, including flights, trains, car rentals, and hotels.
- Maintain up‑to‑date itineraries, invoices, and booking confirmations.
- Handle travel‑related issues, emergencies, changes, cancellations, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Communicate travel details effectively with clients and ensure compliance with travel policies and regulations.
- Stay informed on travel regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of experience in travel coordination, hospitality, or customer service.
- Native Arabic speaker with excellent written and verbal English.
- Strong negotiation, decision‑making, and self‑management abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Required skills
- Proficiency with travel booking software and tools.
- Experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) such as Amadeus, Galileo, and Sabre.
- Knowledge of travel policies, regulations, and best practices.
