About the role
The Assistant Storekeeper supports daily warehouse activities, handling stock inventory, layout planning, physical counts, and deliveries. The role ensures that inventory records are accurate and up‑to‑date, contributing to smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate delivery requests from Sales Operations and ensure timely customer deliveries.
- Verify and maintain accurate stock inventory on a regular basis.
- Maintain documentation for new shipments and stock movements.
- Inspect stock counts before delivery to confirm alignment with purchase orders.
- Issue delivery notes for confirmed customer orders.
- Keep the warehouse storage area safe, clean, and organized.
- Conduct annual inventory and physical stock reconciliations.
- Record accurate details of stock transfers to other locations.
- Follow and enforce health and safety procedures.
Required profile
- College Diploma or equivalent in supply chain or business administration.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in electronics, retail, or construction.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping.
- Hands‑on experience using an ERP system.
- Ability to work in harsh conditions and under high pressure.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
