Ticketing Specialist

About the role

Medes Air is looking for a full‑time Ticketing Specialist to join its on‑site team in Sulaymaniyah District. You will be the primary point of contact for customers buying, changing, or cancelling airline tickets, ensuring every interaction reflects the company’s commitment to personalized service.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily ticket sales, re‑issues, and cancellations in line with airline policies and fare rules.
• Assist customers in person, by phone, and through digital channels, providing accurate information on routes, schedules, fares, and travel options.
• Verify travel documents, manage booking changes, and handle special requests.
• Maintain accurate records in the reservation system and resolve ticketing or booking issues promptly.
• Support sales targets by recommending suitable travel options and promotions.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑facing skills with clear communication.
• Attention to detail in handling payments, fare rules, and documentation.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site, including shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with airline or global distribution systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo.
• Basic computer application proficiency.
