Supply Chain Specialist – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Specialist to manage end‑to‑end procurement, inventory and logistics operations at our headquarters in Baghdad. The role ensures timely delivery of goods, optimal stock levels and strong supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day supply chain activities including procurement, inventory control, logistics coordination and supplier management.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and logistics providers to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Monitor inventory levels, trigger replenishment and maintain optimal stock availability.
• Track purchase orders, shipments and deliveries, resolving any supply issues.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement and inventory transactions within the ERP system.
• Build and sustain effective supplier relationships and support performance evaluations.
• Assist in negotiating pricing, delivery schedules and commercial terms to achieve cost savings.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand material requirements.
• Analyse supply chain data and prepare reports on procurement, inventory and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (mandatory).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles.
• Knowledge of supply chain procedures, contracts and supplier management.
• Experience in vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software.
