Supply Chain Officer

About the role

The Supply Chain Officer will oversee end‑to‑end supply chain activities for Al Safi Group, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services from procurement to delivery. This role collaborates closely with suppliers, logistics partners and internal teams to meet business demand while controlling costs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement, inventory, logistics and distribution processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors and logistics partners to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Plan and monitor inventory levels to balance availability and excess stock.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
• Track shipments, deliveries and warehouse activities to ensure efficiency.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate performance regularly.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and contract terms.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand demand requirements.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reporting and record‑keeping of all supply chain activities.
• Monitor and improve processes to reduce costs and avoid delays while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles.
• Knowledge of supply chain procedures, contracts and supplier management.
• Experience in vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain software.
