Software Engineer – Backend Development

About the role

Zagrosi is seeking a full‑time Software Engineer to join its team in Silêmanî. You will design, develop, test and maintain back‑end services that meet client requirements and uphold the company’s high standards for quality and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust back‑end APIs, databases and server‑side frameworks.
• Write clean, well‑structured, testable code and maintain existing services.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to refine specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, improve performance and reliability.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions and support deployment, monitoring and production activities.
• Document technical solutions and stay up‑to‑date with new tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms and software design principles.
• Hands‑on experience building production‑grade back‑end applications.
• Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming and ability to write maintainable code.
• Experience working in collaborative engineering environments using version control and agile practices.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and clear communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerisation or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
