Experienced Laravel Developer

About the role

Zain Iraq is seeking an experienced Laravel Developer to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions that support the company’s IT operations. The role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring system reliability, and contributing to a secure, high‑performance environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse business and technical requirements from stakeholders.
• Design service architecture, interface specifications and integration workflows.
• Develop Laravel‑based applications, scripts and database configurations.
• Provide L1, L2 and L3 support for integration services, including troubleshooting and incident escalation.
• Perform unit, integration and system testing; track and resolve defects.
• Monitor system health, generate performance reports and recommend optimisations.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with security and data‑privacy standards.
• Research emerging technologies (micro‑services, API gateways, cloud‑native integration) and propose enhancements.
• Coordinate deployments with vendors and internal teams, and manage release packages.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of professional experience with the Laravel framework.
• Strong understanding of SQL queries, database design and web development fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of web servers (e.g., Nginx) and networking concepts.
