Social Media Marketing Strategist

About the role

The Social Media Marketing Strategist will develop and execute social media strategies that align with client goals and brand identity. This full‑time hybrid position is based in Baghdad, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, launch and manage social media campaigns across platforms.
• Create and optimize content tailored to each channel.
• Analyze performance metrics and adjust strategies based on insights.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to maintain social media calendars.
• Engage with online communities and ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills.
• Effective communication and public relations abilities.
• Content strategy expertise to align social media with broader marketing goals.
• Experience with social media analytics tools and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent writing skills in English (en_US) with attention to visual and written detail.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setting in Baghdad.
• Background in startup or agency environments and familiarity with major platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn).
