Site IT Manager

About the role

Lead and manage all IT activities supporting offices and field operations in the Kurdistan region, ensuring reliable, secure, and available technology services across infrastructure, networks, OT, field communications, mobility, cyber security, cloud services, and enterprise systems. Act as the primary IT liaison with operations, maintenance, HSE, engineering, and third‑party vendors to enable safe, compliant, and efficient production and asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Execute IT strategy, including infrastructure design, deployment, operations, incident response and continuous improvement.
• Manage IT staff, contractors, budgets, vendor relationships and ensure compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations.
• Develop and implement IT policies, processes, procedures and controls covering all IT functions.
• Oversee development, design and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems.
• Maintain integrity, high availability and security of all IT environments, including servers, networks, CCTV, access control, radio, PAGA and telephony.
• Produce technical specifications, RFPs and evaluate/select vendors and contractors.
• Lead IT projects from planning through commissioning and coordinate incident response and forensic investigations for cyber‑security incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Electronics/Telecommunication; a master’s degree in Information Systems/Technology is preferred.
• 10–15 years of relevant IT experience with at least 5 years in a middle‑ or senior‑managerial role, preferably in oil & gas or manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with communications/monitoring systems and hardware/network troubleshooting.
