Senior Warehouse Officer

About the role

The Senior Warehouse Officer will lead all warehouse activities for NASS AL‑Iraq Holding Group in Baghdad. This position ensures the smooth flow of materials, accurate inventory records, and compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting procurement, finance, and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Record all receipts and stock movements in the inventory management system with full traceability.
• Maintain organized, labeled storage that meets classification and safety regulations.
• Process material issuance requests, ensuring correct quantities and timely delivery to internal departments.
• Conduct regular and surprise physical inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Monitor storage conditions (temperature, humidity, security) and report damaged, expired, or obsolete stock.
• Coordinate with procurement and finance on purchase orders, delivery tracking, and documentation.
• Supervise warehouse staff, assign tasks, and enforce safety and operational procedures.
• Manage internal material transfers, outbound shipments, and returns with transportation providers.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, usage rates, and reorder points to avoid shortages or overstock.

Required profile

• Proven experience in warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in material handling.
• Ability to supervise and train warehouse personnel.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Experience collaborating with procurement, finance, and project teams.
