Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and coordinating mechanical designs for a variety of projects, including HVAC, fire‑fighting, water, and drainage systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and study mechanical designs and project drawings.
• Design HVAC, refrigeration, fire‑fighting, water‑network, and drainage systems as required.
• Review technical drawings to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and standards.
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, electrical, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare quantities, technical specifications, and engineering reports.
• Utilise specialized engineering software to produce accurate drawings and designs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Relevant experience in mechanical design, preferably in building, industrial, or service projects.
• Strong ability to read, analyse, and review engineering drawings.
• Good knowledge of engineering standards, specifications, and design requirements.
• Organisational, follow‑up, and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or other mechanical design software.
